Subject Structure. of Public Examination (Std. 10)
(Planning of S.S.C. Examination to be in force from March-2007)
(Examination Department, Vadodara)

Note :

  1. For Qualifying 1011 S.S.C. Examination Students must Select Six Compulsory Subjects and One optional subject Total Sevan subjects are to be selected and passed.

  2. The school has to conduct the practical exam related to the subjects.

  3. 80% attendance is required for the practical during the whole academic year. The practical journal and practical book are to be kept for one more year. Only such students following the rules will be allowed to appear for the Examination.

  4. The language of the answers of the question the Examination will be the same as the medium taken in the school.

Appendix-A

All the registered secondary schools of the state will have to select Three Compulsory languages as per three language formula given below under columns A, B, C, & D.

Note :

  1. According to new planning for march-2007 students failing in. English exam, will be issued a pass certificate (A letter of education department No. : prch Em-66ch dated : 01/02/2003

  2. The students from abroad may select French, German or Portuguese instead of ancient 'languages like Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic.

  3. Blinds students are permitted to be exempted from Maths in Std. 10 but in all 7 (seven) subjects in Std. 10 are compulsory.

  4. Deaf & Dumb Students will be exempted from the rest of languages except one Higher Level language but in all 7 (seven) Subjects are compulsory in Std. 10.

  5. Information regarding Dis-Abilities Student will be given at proper time.
